Update from Medical Mission Trip

I have a update (per email) from the medical team that was currently at Three Angels. Here is a copy of the report I was sent.

O kids:
• Ellie was started on some hydrocortisone cream on a “white spot” once/day
• Dave was started on Q-Var 2X/day X 2 weeks (wheezing) (Q-Var is an inhaler)
• Caleb was started on Q-Var 2 x/day x 2 weeks (wheezing)
• Renato: 1 puff/day of inhaler
• Isaiah: griseofulvin 1.5 tsp/day
• Bethany: Augmentin bid x 10 days for eardrum perf and drainage (Augmentin is an antibiotic)
Kethia: Needs Claritin (don’t have liquid claritin – told to buy some)(Claritin is an antihistamine)
Jamesley: Griseofulvin x 6 weeks
• Jean Baptiste: Griseofulvin x 6 weeks
• Peterson: Claritin
Nicot: griseofulvin x 6 weeks

Griseofulvin is for ringworm. We continue to have trouble with this. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in a setting such as an orphanage. We continue to instructed the nannies on how to prevent the spread but children will be children and they love to play together and to be close. Tiana (Annabella's chest x-ray and sputum results finally came back negative for TB, praise GOD!). Daniel Monfils continues to have issues with his ear and suspected ear infections.

Our next medical mission will be May 2-9th and we have another amazing team in the works. We will also be blessed with our full time doctor and RN team (Jack & Marcia) in April. We at Halos are praising God for bringing them to Three Angels.

God Bless each of you,

Jennifer

Awesome!
But I have a question about what "a white spot" means?

I feel so blessed that my children are getting such good care! Jonas is so healthy.
